We held a very successful working party over the weekend of April 19th and 20th. We were supported by members of the Avon branch of the Caravan Club to whom we are grateful and hope to see them again in the future.
A Management plan has been drawn up by South Glos which is currently being vetted by English Heritage under which a sum of around £30,000.00 will be spent over the next few years at the Moat site. The work covers tree surgery, a fence and hedge down Stephens Drive, resurfacing the ruins area and hedge laying. Hopeully his plan can be approved and started in the late Autumn.
